Murder Suspects Ask People in Court to Follow Them on Twitter
A pair of teens accused of murder appear to have more pressing issues.
While appearing in an Easley, S.C. court Wednesday on charges of killing another teenager in a bowling alley, Albert Taylor, 22, and another suspect looked at the cameras recording the proceedings and said, "What's up, y'all? You can follow me on Twitter follow me on Instagram, Snapchat." Police then escorted the suspects out of the courtroom.
Taylor was in court with Jamari Fair, 18, and Dennis Gibbs, 19.
Taylor repeatedly asked the judge about the cameras in the courtroom before he made his odd request. It's not clear if the other person who spoke was Fair or Gibbs.
There's also a fourth suspect in the slaying, but his name has not been revealed, since he is only 15 years old.
Police say the four suspects knew the victim and, somewhat appropriately -- considering the plea in court -- were having an argument on social media before the shooting took place. The group had agreed to meet at the bowling alley to fight.
