Cuba City Community Market

Cuba City Community Market will return for its 9th season on May 19th on Main Street in downtown Cuba City. The Community Market is held on the third Wednesday of each month from May through September. Market hours are from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.  The Market now includes a wider variety of food vendors along with arts, crafts and Vesperman’s famed ice cream truck and the VFW’s fabulous pies.

Venture Into the Wild with Girl Scouts 

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are partnering with Dubuque County Conservation, Dubuque County Hunter Safety Instructors, and Iowa DNR Conservation Officers to teach area girls outdoor survival skills. Dubuque Police Department ‘Shop with a Cop’ Program Donations

Donations are being accepted through August to support the annual Dubuque Police Department ‘Shop with a Cop’ program which purchases back-to-school clothing and supplies for area children. Donors can make checks out to Dubuque Police Protective Association and can be delivered to the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center at 770 Iowa Street. Caregiver Support Group for Caregivers of Dementia Patients/Family Members

24-Hour Care and Oak Park Place host a Caregiver Support group for caregivers taking care of Dementia Patients/family members conducted by trained facilitators. Join them virtually the last Friday of each month at 1:00pm. Contact Sara Kirkpatrick or Nicole Karberg for log in information.

The Order of the Arrow is hosting their Annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast at Eagle Point Park from 8am till 1pm.  Drive-thru this year’s event to purchase your packaged breakfast to enjoy anywhere. Each $10 breakfast includes four freshly made pancakes, four hot sausages, hot scrambled eggs, cold milk and juice.

All boys and girls entering into kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to attend the Klaus Kids Day Camp from 10am till 4pm. You do NOT need to be a Scout to participate.
