The Great River Wind Symphony will present its yearly concert in the John and Alice Butler Hall at 7:30pm. Charles Barland, Professor of Music and Head of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Dubuque, performs his annual organ recital at 7pm at the Queen of the Rosary Chapel, Sinsinawa, Wisconsin. The University of Dubuque Concert Choir will also present a few pieces.
University of Dubuque musicians will hold a concert at 7pm at Sinsinawa Mound featuring a variety of musical styles and repertoire performed by organist Dr. Charles Barland and the UD Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. A freewill offering will be accepted.
The Dubuque Area Writers’ Guild will meet at 6:30pm at Monk’s Kaffee Pub, 373 Bluff St., Dubuque. Meetings will be held the second and fourth Tuesday’s of the month.

Northeast Iowa Council Boy Scouts’ “Scouting for Food” will take place from 9:00am till 12:30pm. The Scouts will be collecting food for the less fortunate in our community. To participate, leave non-perishable food items on your door step for scouts to pick up.
The Heartland Ballet will celebrate the 51st year of its parent company Dubuque City Youth Ballet by presenting two new works. The Dubuque County Community Connections Committee will present a free Wellness Expo from 10am till 3pm at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. The Expo will offer a wide range of free screenings, tests, presentations, activities, products and resources from nearly 60 different practitioners, businesses, agencies, and non-profits. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit children and family programs at St. Mark Youth Enrichment.
