The annual Fall Clean-up will begin on Monday October 4th and run through Friday October 8, 2021. Please remove all items and decorations you wish to save no later than Sunday October 3, 2021. All items not removed will be discarded. Cemetery Management requests that no decorations or plantings be placed on grave sites until Saturday, October 9, 2021. Check Cemetery Regulations before placing decorations to avoid losing items that do not conform

Walk with a paranormal group as they investigate the history and people of Dubuque's past. Great River Investigative Paranormal Society (GRIPS) will take people along the beautiful and peaceful paths to various graves with unique history, stories will be told. Ghost equipment will be used to experience the fun and thrill of ghost hunting.Start time will be 6:30 p.m. and tours last approximately two hours. Cost is $10/person cash and all participants must be 10 years or older.
Social Distancing and current Mask Mandate (if any) will be observed.

Hillcrest Family Services, based in Dubuque, and Unity Point Health – AbbeHealth Services, based in Cedar Rapids, are offering free brain health coaching sessions for adults and children of any age. The sessions can be scheduled now and will run until June 30. Funded by CARES Act grant monies, the free sessions are offered to residents in nine eastern Iowa counties:  Benton, Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Johnson, Jones and Linn counties. Dubuque Police Department ‘Shop with a Cop’ Program Donations

Donations are being accepted through August to support the annual Dubuque Police Department ‘Shop with a Cop’ program which purchases back-to-school clothing and supplies for area children. Donors can make checks out to Dubuque Police Protective Association and can be delivered to the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center at 770 Iowa Street. Caregiver Support Group for Caregivers of Dementia Patients/Family Members

24-Hour Care and Oak Park Place host a Caregiver Support group for caregivers taking care of Dementia Patients/family members conducted by trained facilitators. Join them virtually the last Friday of each month at 1:00pm. Contact Sara Kirkpatrick or Nicole Karberg for log in information.

Project Recovery Wisconsin.

Are you feeling stressed or anxious because of the pandemic?  Many farmers and farmworkers are experiencing the same feelings of exhaustion, irritability, anger, sleeplessness, and worry. Free, confidential support is available through Project Recovery Wisconsin. Call 833-FARM-HELP to connect with an outreach worker.


We will no longer accept clothing for this summer’s sale  We thank those who have so generously donated. New this year:  the garage sale will continue through Saturday, October 2.

Friday October 8th

Center Grove Church is excited to once again host their annual Pork Chop Dinner from 4-7:30pm at the church (3140 Brunskill rd., nxt to Old Chicago).

Tickets are $15 for adults and children 6-12yrs are $7, and can be purchased ahead of time or at the door. Two seating times are available: 4-5:30pm and 5:30-7:30pm. The meal comes with thick cut Iowa pork chop, potatoes, corn, applesauce. rolls, dessert, lemonade, & coffee.

Saturday October 23

First annual Pink Run N' Rally to help raise money for a breast cancer foundation called the Pink Hummingbird Project.
