Do you believe in life after love? Celine Dion certainly does.

The iconic balladeer, who stunned at last night's (May 21) Billboard Music Awards with a performance of "My Heart Will Go On," was just a much a fan of the show as she was a feature. You can look to Cher's performances of "Believe" and "Turn Back Time" as evidence.

Cher, who performed two of her career's biggest hits as part of her Icon Award presentation, drew huge response from Dion, who watched the set from backstage. At one point, Billboard captured Dion starting a Cher-centric singalong that found stars, producers and photographers, alike, belting out "Believe." In the clip above, Dion goes as far as to sing "Do you believe in Cher after love," making a convincing case for a lyrical addendum.

"I've wanted to do what I do since I was four years old and I've been doing it for 53 years," Cher said upon receiving the Icon Award. "I want to thank my mom because when I was young, my mom said, 'You're not going to be the smartest. You're not going to be the prettiest. You're not going to be the most talented. But you're going to be special.' And when I met Sonny, he said the same thing. And there was really nothing about me that led anyone to believe that I was going to be special."
