2022 Farm Progress Shows Return to Boone, Iowa a Success

According to all accounts, this year's Farm Progress Show was an overwhelming success!  The booths were buzzing and the streets were vibrant as the Farm Progress Show made a triumphant return to Boone, Iowa, for the first time since 2018.

Don Tourte, senior vice president of sales and events with Farm Progress said:

]“I think what sets this show apart from other years was the atmosphere,” . “Attendees waited four years for the Farm Progress Show to come back to Boone, and you could feel a tangible sense of excitement in the air. It’s an experience that I think many visitors and exhibitors will carry with them in the coming years.”

 

One of the biggest highlights was the concert by country music star Lee Brice, presented by Case IH and co-sponsored by Farm Progress. Brice first performed for Farm Progress Show at the Decatur, Ill., grounds in 2021, but he returned to Farm Progress Show again this year to grace show visitors with yet another fantastic performance.

There was no shortage of impressive equipment at the show either. Fan favorites like the floating tractor display and autonomy demonstrations drew in crowds for the entirety of the three-day event. And new equipment was around every corner, from Case IH and its company partner Raven with the first autonomous spreader to Ryse Aero Technologies, which took to the skies for manned test flights of its ag-focused ultralight aircraft Recon.

The ADM stage in the Wallaces Farmer Hospitality Tent hosted multiple seminars and special guests, including a first-time visit from U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack. Producers had the unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge, see agriculture officials, and hear about some of the biggest challenges facing the industry today.
