‘True Blood’ Final Season Reveals First Clip, New Synopses, and a Musical?
This Sunday will see HBO's 'True Blood' beginning its final bleed with season 7 premiere "Jesus Gonna Be Here," but you didn't think you'd have to wait that long for the first taste, right? Check out our first bloodthirsty new clip from the final season, along with a fresh batch of spoilery synopses, and even news of a potential 'True Blood' musical!
First and foremost, Entertainment Weekly snagged the first official clip from the final season's third episode "Fire in the Hole," which sees Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) reluctantly partnered once more, as Sookie is forced to drink Bill's blood and remind him why things remain complicated between the two of them. As if that weren't tantalizing enough, new spoilery episode descriptions have been released for the third, fourth, fifth and sixth episodes of the season, following the first two synopses:
Episode 7.03 - Fire in the Hole
Sookie hatches a dangerous plan; Pam looks to motivate Eric.
Episode 7.04 - Sick of Goodbyes
Sookie enlists a band of vampires and humans to track down the H-Vamps.
Episode 7.05 - Return to Oz
Sookie hosts a mainstreaming party; Eric and Pam head to Dallas for a fundraiser.
Episode 7.06 - Karma
Sookie makes a shocking discovery; Eric and Pam forge an unlikely alliance.
But wait, it gets even weirder! We've learned that composer Nathan Barr has gotten HBO and series creator Alan Ball's blessing to craft a 'True Blood' musical, which will be workshopped over the next year, and potentially one day make it to Broadway. Stephen Moyer even helped Barr arrange some of the concept presentation.
So, what do we think? With all the new 'True Blood' goodies, are you ready to begin the final season this coming Sunday? Watch EW's clip below, and give us your predictions in the comments!
