Rhomberg Bridge Set to Open Monday June 13

Rhomberg Avenue Opening, East. 24th St. Closing on Monday, June 13

The Rhomberg Ave. bridge is expected to open at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, June 13. Later that same day, E. 24th St. between Washington St. and Prince St. will close for Bee Branch Project-related construction. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour route which includes Jackson St., E. 25th St., and and Elm St.

The E. 24th St. closure will be expanded and adjusted as necessary throughout the summer, and is expected to be finished in the fall of 2016. Please note, Rhomberg Ave. will now be used as the detour route for the E. 22nd St. closure. The E. 22nd St. bridge is also expected to be finished this fall.
