Nike Cortez Epic

The Nike Cortez is as classic as they come and while this east coast weather isn’t exactly conducive to wearing a pair, just looking at them gives us a warm feeling inside. That warm feeling burns a bit brighter thanks to Nike's updated take that emphasizes one of the sneaker’s main features.

That waffle outsole is a signifier for the Nike Cortez and that aspect of it’s design has been blown out for the Nike Cortez Epic. This white leather iteration of the shoe finds the wider ridges populating the majority of the outsole with the heel and toe tipped off by more traditional traction. The tumbled leather upper is met with a nylon tongue and things are kept simple in terms of color by way of black accents on the midsole and branding.

The Nike Cortez Epic is set to release this Spring at select Nike retailers but sorry fellas, it’s a women’s release.
