See what I did there? 'Cause "Pseudo Sue".... whatever, that's puny! I recently made the trip to Decorah with my wife. The trails, hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife were amazing, but so was our night out! For anyone that makes the trip to Decorah a must-stop-spot is Toppling Goliath Brewing Company!

First off, I will preface this by saying, I am not a paid spokesman... but if they wanted one, they could have it. Toppling Goliath Brewing Company is easily one of the best breweries around. Period. And its all made right here in Iowa; BONUS.

I always have difficulty finding a better IPA than the original "Pseudo Sue", but of course then they go and make the "King Sue" a Double IPA. The guys a Toppling Goliath definitely know their way a round a mango or two as it has become one of their staple ingredients (it's working).

I digress, we did make the pilgrimage to the brewery and had a really great time. Kids played games of giant connect four, bags were set-up and ready to be thrown, live music had finished up earlier in the day, and I was hungry! By the way the brewery also serves tasty food to accompany their many awesome beers, sours, and now seltzers.

And the food....

lets just say I had my fill, and then some.

And if you're looking to deck yourself out in some cool gear, (heavy emphasis on the T-Rex patterns) then they have an in-house swag shop with about anything you could want; t-shirts, hats, coozies, key chains, dog toys, and more! Taking beer to go? No worries! Customers looking to stop-in quickly will find a full fridge of stocked 4 packs ready to go at the main entrance.

So, how did Toppling Goliath begin; Clark and Barbara Lewey founded the company in 2009 in Decorah, after a run-away success in home brewing. In less than a decade, Toppling Goliath has become world-renowned for IPAs and barrel-aged stouts, which they now distribute in 30 states. They also create more than 40 beers that rotate throughout any given year, and have recently developed some collaboration beers in partnership with other breweries (I think I've tried about 7 so far, all fantastic)

So swing by Decorah and stop by the "watering hole" that makes some of the best darn "water" around (I mean beer, you get it). Toppling Goliath Brewing Company, I tip my hat to you and "Sue". It's the best can of Pale Ale around in my book. In fact, I will raise a can to that.
