One of the most coveted Jordan Brand silhouettes to ever drop is the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam and since 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of the Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny film, Space Jam, the good folks over at the Jumpman have decided to bring back the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam iteration for this year’s holidays.

First worn by Jordan during a 1995 NBA playoff game, the sneaker became a fan-favorite among the general public after MJ was seen wearing the shoe in the 1996 classic film, Space Jam, when his team of Bugs Bunny and friends took on the alien slavers to determine their freedom. Dressed in a black upper with hits of white on the midsole and tongue, the sneaker features hits of blue on the Jumpman logo, tongue and outsole. Closing out the shoe is a transparent outsole and the signature patent leather material that covers the shoe from heel to toe.

Last retroed in December of 2009, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will return in its OG model and is scheduled for a December 2016 release. With details kept to minimum for now, make sure to check back with XXL to get the full info behind the release of this coveted Jordan Brand silhouette.
