Troy Bolton who? Zac Efron really has his head in the game for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Over the weekend, the High School Musical star shared a chilling new photo from the set of his upcoming movie based on notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, who Efron portrays in the film. And honestly, the resemblance is uncanny.
Check out Efron "schemin'" behind the scenes with director Joe Berlinger, below:
Efron shared the official first look of himself in character back on January 17, posting a black and white photo from set. However, the photo was snapped from too far away to reveal just how much the actor was able to physically transform himself into Bundy.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (release date TBA) explores the horrifying story of Bundy through the perspective of his longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, played by Lily Collins in the film.
Theodore "Ted" Bundy was an Americal serial killer, rapist and necrophile who, during the 1970s, assaulted and killed dozens of young girls and women.
In the late '80s, shortly before his execution at the age of 42 at the Florida State Prison on January 24, 1989, Bundy confessed to murdering 30 people in seven states between 1974 and 1978.
