Tom Robbins, Executive Director of the University of Dubuque Heritage Center, stopped in studio today to tease the lineup of shows and performances coming to the Heritage Center for the upcoming season, which kicks off in September.

This will be the Heritage Center's 10th anniversary. Although he had to be tight-lipped on the good stuff, Robbins said that this season will be chock full of talented individuals and impressive shows.

Robbins did, however, give us something of an inside scoop on what to expect. For instance, UD alum Tony Danza will be performing at the Heritage Center for homecoming on October 22nd at 8pm. Robbins talked a bit about what we can expect from the actor, singer, and dancer himself:

It's [Tony's] 50th class reunion [....] he brings a band [for] a newly retooled show. It's called Standards and Stories with [lots of classics] from the American Songbook.

Tony Danza is just one of over two dozen acts slated to take the Heritage Center stage starting in September and extending through springtime 2023. The full schedule will be revealed this Thursday, July 21st, at 8am on the Heritage Center's website.

In conjunction with the 10th anniversary schedule being announced there is also a new rewards program rolling out. It will be a wonderful boon to folks who see multiple shows at the Heritage Center this year and next.

This year, we're introducing a rewards program called H-PALS: Heritage Performing Arts Loyalty System. Once you have an account in our ticketing system, you opt into the rewards program. Once you've spent $200 on tickets, you can get a ticket up to $50 for free.

Robbins promises to pay us a visit again on Thursday to reveal some of the shows that will be at the Heritage Center this fall, winter, and next spring. The 10th anniversary is prime to be special and memorable, particularly with a new rewards program set to commence.

You can stay posted on Heritage Center's website and Facebook page to be one of the first to see the announcements, which will go public at 8am on Thursday, July 21st.

In the meantime, take a listen to the full interview I conducted with Tom Robbins!
