Trick or Treat Times and Safe Trick or Treating Reminders

Dubuque Trick or Treating is Sunday October 31st from 5:30 pm till 7:30 pm. Asbury is the same night from 5:30 pm till 7 pm

Trick or treat at the East Dubuque Firehouse October 31st from 5pm till 7pm

Here are some tips to stay safe this Halloween:

Wear a mask to cover your mouth and face for COVID-19 safety if social distancing isn't possible

Try to maintain social distance.

Wear costumes that are bright and reflective. Make sure the costumes fit well to prevent tripping.

Use trick-or-treat bags that have the ability to reflect light. Reflective tape can assist in this.

Have trick-or-treaters use flashlights so they can be seen.

Only trick-or-treat in areas that the child knows.

Trick-or-treaters should only cross streets at a crosswalk. Drivers must also be aware on Halloween to slow down and be prepared to stop.

Do not eat treats until they are brought home and examined by an adult.
