Final ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Episodes Set February Premiere With First Trailer
For Star Wars Rebels, it all comes down to this. All your questions about each character’s fate and the mysteries of the Force will be answered in February, as Rebels’ fourth and final season sets its final premiere date with an intense, cameo-heavy trailer.
Disney confirms that the final Star Wars Rebels episodes will unfurl over three weeks, beginning with a two-episode premiere on Monday, February 19 at 9:00 P.M. Each Monday will bring two new episodes until the final ninety-minute conclusion on Monday, March 5 at 8:30 P.M. In addition to the first trailer above (more on that below), check out this not-at-all-ominous poster art for the final episodes:
As to the trailer, there’s plenty to digest. Kanan’s new hair! Ian McDiarmid’s Emperor Palaptine! More clones! And lest we forget, there’s that lingering question of Ahsoka Tano’s fate and the mysterious convor bird Ezra seems to recognize. The trailer didn’t offer any explicit clues as to the characters’ ultimate fates, but we at least know Hera will survive her incarceration long enough to make it to Rogue One, and even through the original trilogy.
We’ll have more to see from the final Star Wars Rebels episodes soon, so stay tuned for the latest on our February 19 premiere.
