Scouts Honor Mom with Annual Eagle Point Park Pancake Breakfast
Mother's Day ranks high on the flowers, cards, phone calls, and pancakes list. That's right; we said pancakes.
We don't advocate breakfast in bed where syrup is involved, but just about every mom loves a delicious pancake breakfast on her big day. Especially one made and served by a group of courteous and attentive boy scouts.
If you're seeking someplace special to take mom this Mother's Day, look no further than Dubuque's Eagle Point Park, where you can enjoy the Order of the Arrow's Annual Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast with a view of the Mississippi River!
Show mom how much she means to you with a trip to Dubuque's number one park to enjoy the cooking of Northeast Iowa Council #178.
Mom will be grateful for her delicious breakfast that includes four freshly made pancakes, hot sausages, hot scrambled eggs, cold milk, and juice. The website doesn't say coffee, but it's probably a safe bet there'll be some available.
Tickets may be purchased on-site that morning, at the Council Service Center, or online at https://scoutingevent.com/178-OABreakfast.
When purchasing online, the scouts ask that you please print your confirmation email and enter the breakfast as one group.
Breakfast Tickets are $10 and free for kids under four years.
Mom works so hard throughout the year, and she deserves something nice. The scouts have been hosting this breakfast for years, so they know how to make mom feel special.
The breakfast runs from 7:30 a.m.-to 12:30 pm at Eagle Point Park. Follow the signs upon entering the park.
