Mike Fisher Tributes Carrie Underwood’s ‘Killer Hair’ in Comical Birthday Post
Carrie Underwood turns 35 on Saturday (March 10), and her husband, Mike Fisher, couldn't let the day pass without a little gentle teasing while wishing his wife a Happy Birthday.
Fisher turned to Instagram to share a picture of Underwood singing live, sporting a wild, unkempt hairstyle that flashes back to the days of bigger hair being a country music trend.
"Happy birthday to an incredible wife and an amazing mom with killer hair!" he writes to accompany the photo, adding a smiley emoji.
On a more serious note, he goes on to praise Underwood for being a great wife, as well as being a great mother to the couples three-year-old son, Isaiah.
"All kidding aside you’re a blessing to Izzy and I everyday! Love you @carrieunderwood."
Underwood and Fisher married in July of 2010, and the couple welcomed Isaiah on Feb. 27, 2015. They often share personal glimpses of their private life together to social media, with most of it revolving around Isaiah. Most recently, Underwood turned to Instagram to share a photo of the amazing cake they had made for his third birthday.
Underwood has been laying low for most of the last year, with her only public appearances being a few TV spots. She signed a new record deal with Capitol Records Nashville in 2017, and recently shared that she was working on new music. She has not revealed a timeline for releasing that new music, and as it stands, fans who want to see her live in 2018 will get their only chance when Underwood headlines at We Fest, which takes place from Aug. 2-4 in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line are also set to headline at the festival.
