You Can Own a Life-Size Darth Vader Statue For Only $8,000
Darth Vader may not be returning for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' (that we know of), but he has indeed made a comeback. Sideshow Collectibles unveiled their life-size statue of the most iconic Sith Lord in the galaxy -- and you can take him home if you have several thousand dollars in your bank account.
(Honestly, did you think owning Darth Vader would be a cheap ordeal?)
IGN debuted the first photos of the new Sideshow Collectibles statue, which stands at 7 feet and weighs 105 lbs. The replica comes on a "cinematic light-up display case" and includes interchangeable hands so you can alter Vader's pose at your whim. If you recall, life-size versions of Han Solo in carbonite and the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett were also released, and now diehard 'Star Wars' collectors can finally have their big (and we mean big) happy family.
This Darth Vader costs $7,999, but you can also pay it off with a monthly payment of $719.90 for a full year. While this may seem like a tempting offer, don't forget about Comic-Con. Do you really wanna blow all your funds mere weeks before the big convention and risk missing out on all the crazy exclusives that are coming your way?
Still, by the looks of the photos below, nothing will scare away unwanted house guests than this big guy.
