It is Spring in Wisconsin.  I know, it doesn't really feel like it depending on where you are in Wisconsin.  You might still be looking at snow.

But isn't that kind of spring in Wisconsin?  Snow one day, shorts the next.  Flooding one week, bone dry the next.  Well, the Farmer's Almanac agrees, which is why Wisconsin is the most divided state in the country for the rest of the Spring 2025 forecast.

No other state for Spring of 2025 has 4 zones of weather from the Farmer's Almanac.  Not even large states like Texas or California.  But, depending on where you are in Wisconsin, things could be very different.

I thought there was going to be one similarity, and that was warm temps.  But, even that is not the case as the Southeast corner of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) is forecast to have normal temps and dry conditions.

While a big section of central Wisconsin calls for a "wet" spring forecast, storms can still happen anywhere.  So always be prepared and be on the lookout.

But, the most likely area of Wisconsin to get consistent rain this spring will be a large part of central Wisconsin.  From about LaCrosse to North of Minneapolis across to the entire state to Green Bay.  But these lines can be fuzzy.

If you like it warm, well, Wisconsin warm, and dry then the last two areas of Wisconsin are going to be good for you this spring.

Far Northern Wisconsin (the woods and Superior) and the South West corner of Wisconsin (Iowa) are expecting to see a warm dry rest of the spring.

As you can see by the map below, it's the most divided state in the country.

For those of us from Wisconsin this isn't a surprise.  We'll have the heater, and A/C ready to go.  The umbrella and the sunscreen packed in the car.  And because it's Wisconsin, we won't put away the snow shovel quite yet.

Enjoy Spring in Wisconsin!
