Robbery In Illinois

A pair of thieves from the Windy City committed an armed robbery in Chicago. Among the many items they stole from the target included a cellphone. Once the suspects took off and the situation was safe, the victim immediately called the police for help. Once the police arrived and started the investigation, the officers found a major clue that was a breakthrough in the case.

One of the items stolen was the victim's phone. The device's owner had a "find my phone app," so the police could track the suspects. The thieves didn't even check out the cell so they had no idea the cops would be able to track them down. They traced the criminals to Des Plaines, so the investigating officers reached out to the local police for help.
