It's the best day of the year, well, at least it is for me.
That's because the Academy Awards are this Sunday, a movie lovers' dream.
For those who love a good flick, this is the culmination of it all.
It's the Super Bowl with awards. There's a ton of celebrity and on occasion, something wild happens.

There's also a bit of local pride when it comes to The Oscars because you might find someone who lived in the same town or city as you scoring film's highest honors.

California is the home of Hollywood and also the home of 11 Best Actress winners and 14 for Best Actor.
The second most Oscar winners for acting come from New York with a total of 22 different Academy Award winners.
Philadelphia came in third overall but after that it's Illinois.
Illinois has six different Best Actor/Actress winners from Illinois with Frances McDormand having won the prestigious award twice.
