With Christmas mere days away, the holiday spirit is beginning to take hold in Dubuque. This is especially true at Louis Murphy Park, where the annual Reflections in the Park is underway nightly through the end of 2022.

The 28th Annual holiday event is beautiful as it benefits a vital Dubuque nonprofit. Not to mention, Reflections in the Park has a long history of thrilling folks with dynamic displays incorporating thousands of twinkling lights.

Hillcrest Family Services Reflections in the Park Lights Festival is the organization's biggest fundraiser each year. So, taking a drive through the park supports and helps Hillcrest achieve its mission of "Meeting people as they are today, Guiding them to where they want and need to be tomorrow." All of the proceeds from this event go directly into programs and allows Hillcrest to provide the in-demand services to people in our community.

Hillcrest has a long successful record of assisting a cross-section of those in need, including residential foster group care services for children and adolescents. Additionally, Hillcrest facilitates the adoption process and provides various professional healthcare services to promote health and wellness. The benefits include a Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. The organization also assists those unhoused and lacking stable, safe, and adequate housing.

Reflections in the Park is from 5 pm to 10 pm nightly through January 1.

The fee is just $12 per vehicle at the entrance gate. Still, a discount is available, and it's only $10 when purchased in advance at any Dubuque Bank and Trust branch.

Santa will also be on-hand during the final two Tuesdays before Christmas day. So gather and fill the car with kids to bask in the holiday glow at one of Dubuque's longest-running holiday traditions, Reflections in the Park.
