Rambo is a 2-year-old male with a big personality and an even bigger love for life. He’s an active, confident boy who enjoys getting his energy out by running around outside and playing fetch. Rambo walks nicely using his Easy Walk harness and is very "treat-motivated," making him an excellent candidate for continued training and enrichment.

Rambo has done well meeting multiple other dogs at the shelter and truly loves everyone. While he can struggle with some barrier reactivity in his kennel, staff encourage potential adopters not to let that deter them. Once you meet Rambo outside his kennel, his friendly, enthusiastic nature shines through.

Stop by the Dubuque Regional Humane Society to meet Rambo or any of their available dogs. By the way, thanks to a generous sponsor, Rambo’s adoption fee is just $50.

And while you’re visiting, be sure to take part in the Dubuque Regional Humane Society’s Be Mine, DRHS Valentine fundraiser, happening all month long. Donations help place hand-drawn valentines on shelter kennels to brighten each animal’s day, with four valentine levels available: candy heart, kiss, teddy bear, and rose. Every Valentine is handmade, proudly displayed, and the donations for purchasing them directly support the animals in need.
