A beloved Saturday morning cartoon, which was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, is coming to the Five Flags Center next year, setting the stage early for another year of great entertainment in the Tri-States.
Animaniacs was a FOX Kids show back in the early-to-late 1990s. A product of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, along with Tiny Toon Adventures, the show, like many of its era, has enjoyed a sort of nostalgic rejuvenation with 90s programs being all the rage these days.

The zany trio along with some other familiar characters will be coming to Dubuque in 2024. Animaniacs in Concert is coming to Five Flags Center on February 1st, 2024. For those unfamiliar, Animaniacs was a variety show that brought a plethora of fast-moving, Looney Tunes-esque characters to life for a lot of zany fun. The show was famous for its inclusion of music, pop culture references, and adult-oriented innuendo.

Now, the original voice actors, including Rob Paulsen, Maurice Lamarche, Jess Harnell, and Tress MacNeille, are reprising the roles of their iconic characters for a multi-generational animated concert experience that's expected to pull double-duty, being entertaining for both children and adults who grew up watching Animaniacs.

The show will happen specifically in the Five Flags Theater at 7pm on February 1st, 2024:

Join the original lead voice-cast of Animaniacs -- the iconic animated Warner Bros series created by Steven Spielberg -- for a “zany, animany and totally insaney” evening as they perform the world-famous songs from the beloved cartoon TV series backed by projections of the equally world-famous animations (featuring a trio of wacky characters causing mayhem on the Warner Bros. studio lot). Starring the show’s original Emmy-winning composer Randy Rogel, and the voice talents of Emmy Winner Rob Paulsen (Yakko and Pinky), and Maurice La Marche (the Brain and others).

The property is as relevant today as it was when the TV series debuted in the early 1990’s. With new episodes currently streaming on HULU, Animaniacs is a multi-generational animated favorite with universally-recognized hit songs. As its creators say, “Animaniacs in Concert is for the adults – it’s hip, it’s funny…but kids will love it, too!” - Five Flags Center's website
