The 2026 Iowa State Fair Queen has been crowned, and she hails from right here in Eastern Iowa!

The 2026 Iowa State Fair Queen

103 contestants headed to Des Moines last week to compete for the title of queen. The young women earned their way to the Iowa State Fair by winning local county fair contests, according to CBS2. And on Saturday, August 15th, one of those 103 contestants was crowned the Iowa State Fair queen! Congratulations to Tama County's Belle Werner!

CBS2 reports that Belle is the daughter of Eric and Michelle Werner. As queen, she'll represent the Iowa State Fair for the next year. She also receives a $3,000 scholarship from the fair and a $1,000 scholarship from Dawghouse Concessions, along with other prizes.

Other Winners from the Iowa State Fair

According to a Facebook post from the Iowa State Fair, the other finalists in the competition included;

-1st Runner-Up: Jillian Dammann of Page County
- 2nd Runner-Up: Jillian Hanson of Benton County
- 3rd Runner-Up: Eliza Schmidt of Dallas County
- Outstanding Leadership: Brigid Bonner of Crawford County
- Personality Plus: Anita Marie Scholten of Warren County
- Queen Alumni Award in honor of Julie Wolterman: Allison Gruntmeir of Lee County
CBS2 reports that contestants were judged on personality, attitude, awareness, leadership, citizenship, contributions to their community, overall appearance, charm, and poise.
