It's been a great day for Iowa college basketball fans. Both the Iowa women and Iowa men have released most of their game times for the upcoming season, along with what television networks they'll be on. There's plenty of streaming services, as well. One in particular.

Let's start with the Iowa men.

The 2023-24 Iowa men's hoops season will tip off on Tuesday, November 7 (7 p.m.) on BTN+ against North Dakota State. It's one of three BTN+ appearances for Fran McCaffery's team this season. The others will be on November 17 (versus Arkansas State) and on December 29 (versus Northern Illinois). Iowa will have a pair of games on the Peacock streaming service. Those will be on Friday, November 10 (versus Alabama State) and on Tuesday, February 20 (at Michigan State).

Perhaps the best news of all, the Iowa men will have eight weekend Big 10 games at Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season. Here are the days/dates/times for those:

  • Sunday, December 10 (Michigan) 3:30 p.m. (BTN)
  • Saturday, January 6 (Rutgers) 11 a.m. (BTN)
  • Friday, January 12 (Nebraska) 8 p.m. (BTN)
  • Saturday, January 20 (Purdue) 1 p.m. (FS1)

The season begins for Lisa Bluder and company on Monday, November 6 (Farleigh Dickinson). The time has not yet been announced, but the game will be televised by BTN+. That's one of only two BTN+ games currently on the Iowa women's schedule.

If you haven't subscribed to Peacock, the streaming network that will show this Saturday's Iowa-Purdue football game, you'll want to. There are seven Iowa women's games that will air on that service. That's a total of nine games on Peacock, between the Iowa men and women, for the upcoming season.

The Iowa women aren't scheduled to play on Peacock until January 2 (versus Michigan State). They'll play on that streaming service six more times before the end of February.

For those lucky enough to have tickets for the Iowa women this season, the Big 10 weekend home games are below:

  • Saturday, December 30 (Minnesota) 1 p.m. (BTN)
  • Saturday, January 13 (Indiana) 7 p.m. (Fox)
  • Saturday, January 27 (Nebraska) 1 p.m. (BTN)
  • Sunday, February 25 (Illinois) Noon (FS1)
  • Sunday, March 3 (Ohio State) Noon (Fox)

The Iowa games versus Virginia Tech (November 9), Northern Iowa (November 12), Iowa State (December 6), and Loyola-Chicago (December 21) do not have game times or television networks assigned at this point. The full schedule for the Iowa women's basketball team is available here.
