Eastern Iowa Food Truck To Open a Restaurant in Vinton

An Eastern Iowa food truck and catering company is taking the next big step in the food business. Opening a brick-and-mortar location for fans of their food to enjoy!

Beast and Bird is a locally owned and operated BBQ and grilled food trailer and catering company. They serve everything from pulled pork to chicken to brisket and amazing sides like coleslaw and mac and cheese. Don't forget the ribs and as they describe it, the 'best cornbread on earth!'

After traveling around Eastern Iowa in their food trailer and catering numerous events, Beast and Bird made a huge announcement on their Facebook page. A physical restaurant location is coming in 2024! According to the post, Beast and Bird will team up with McBride Mobile Taps to bring a brick-and-mortar location to Vinton in the new year!

Beast and Bird didn't release too many details, but here is what they do know will be part of the new restaurant in Vinton.

• Dine in service
• Full bar AND self-pour taps
• Patio and outdoor seating
• Private rooms, including one large room
• A mobile unit, and a mobile tap trailer
• Live music and entertainment

The Facebook post says that they want to give the people of Vinton something fun to do on a Friday or Saturday night! The post states that there is a lot of work ahead to make the restaurant a reality.

We can't wait to head to Vinton next year and sit down at the Beast and Bird restaurant! in the meantime, look for their food trailer on the road across Eastern Iowa!
