Alarming: Cancer-Causing Chemical in Over 50 Iowa Grocery Items

Over 50 different common items in Iowa grocery stores have tested positive for this cancer-causing chemical.

Consumer Reports examined commonly consumed fast foods and essential supermarket items for the presence of bisphenols and phthalates, substances known to pose health risks.

Bisphenols and phthalates are chemical compounds commonly found in various consumer products.

Bisphenols, such as BPA (Bisphenol A), are used in the production of plastics and epoxy resins.

They can be found in plastic containers, bottles, food can linings, and dental sealants.

The National Center For Health Research says that exposure to phthalates is associated with health problems such as Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, Fertility and some phthalates are know carcinogens.
