Dubuque Theater Seeks Funny Actors to Star in 2023 Comedies

What better way to celebrate National Arts & Humanities month than to audition for a part in a local theater production?

Dubuque's Bell Tower Theater has auditions scheduled for the 2023 season. So October is the perfect month to dust off the performance cobwebs and show the Dubuque community your talents.

Auditions are at the Bell Tower Theater, 2728 Asbury Rd, Dubuque. You can call yourself a professional actor if you land a part because all Bell Tower performers are paid.

You'll also work with a local theater legend who will help take your acting skills to another level. 2023 shows will be directed by Bell Tower Theater Artistic Director Sue Riedel or guest director Michelle Blanchard.

The Bell Tower Theater is looking for a variety of talent in all adult age demographics over 18. The theater is casting for 27 roles in four comedies in 2023.

All auditioners should plan to arrive at the start time. Auditioners are asked to prepare a 2-3 minute comedic monologue of their choice. (Samples are available here)
