Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance against the NFL under the collective bargaining agreement for collusion, according to Bleacher Report. He's hiredd attorney Mark Geragos for the case.

"This was done only after pursuing every possible avenue with the NFL teams and their executives," Geragos said in a statement this morning.

Amid protests for his return, including one outside of the Baltimore Raven's stadium yesterday, Kaepernick has remained unsigned for this season after kneeling in protest of police violence against black people during the National Anthem. His protest has since sparked a national conversation, with many artists and musicians lending their support to his cause, including Chance the Rapper, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and JAY-Z among many others.
