Another Marvel Hero Has Been Confirmed for ‘Avengers 4’
The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War dropped this week, offering fans a sneak peek at Marvel’s biggest film to date. Featuring the largest collection of MCU characters to appear together on screen, Joe and Anthony Russo’s super-sequel will pit our heroes against Thanos in a massive war over the fate of the universe. As such, we can expect a few of our favorite superheroes to bite the dust, but we now know of at least one more who will survive the Infinity War to appear in Avengers 4. Potential spoilers ahead!
A few of Marvel’s major stars are set to exit the MCU after Infinity War, and between the battle with Thanos and a few contracts expiring behind the scenes, that’s not exactly surprising. Besides, these guys can’t be entirely indestructible. As of now, we know of only a handful of characters who will appear in the fourth film, including Iron Man, Captain America, and Hulk. Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel was also recently confirmed for the sequel, and now we know of one more: Elizabeth Olsen.
The actress, who plays Scarlet Witch, posted a photo to her latest Instagram story (you can see a screenshot of the pic at Heroic Hollywood) which features a bruise she received on her arm while filming Avengers 4. Olsen captioned the image with, “Scarlet Witch took flight yesterday and got a bruise.”
Of course, it’s entirely possible that more characters could be killed off in Avengers 4, which is currently filming for a 2019 release date.
