A New Specialty Sports Store is Coming to Dubuque’s Kennedy Mall

Last month, Dubuque's premier shopping center announced two new stores would be opening. Today, they took to Facebook to announce another store would be opening inside a 3,700 square-foot space.

On March 7th, 2024, Kennedy Mall announced via Facebook that Rally House, a "fast-growing sports apparel chain" will be opening inside the mall. Rally House will be located in a 3,700 square-foot space near Center Court inside the mall, which has been welcoming new stores left-and-right over the last several months.

Two Locations are Coming to Dubuque!:

While one Rally House store will be located inside Kennedy Mall, another will be located in Asbury Plaza. It will be housed inside an 8,000+ square foot space between the recently opened Sierra Trading Post and Famous Footwear.

For those unaware, Rally House is billed as a "specialty sports store" that offers an expansive selection of apparel, gifts, home decor, and other varieties of licensed merchandise, per Kennedy Mall's Facebook post, including:

• NFL
• NBA
• MLB
• NHL
• MLS

Rally House also offers local novelties and regional-inspired items that are tailored to specific teams in the area. That means, merch for local Dubuque universities might even be offered at both the Kennedy Mall and Asbury Plaza locations.

The company was founded in Kansas City, MO in 1989, and presently has locations across 13 states in the Midwest, south, and northeast regions of the United States.

When Will Rally House Open in Dubuque?:

Per Kennedy Mall's Facebook post, both stores are expected to open in June 2024.

The 2024 Kennedy Mall Renaissance:

Dubuque's Kennedy Mall has been welcoming new stores left-and-right recently. At the tail-end of last year, a new store called Angry Fox opened. Angry Fox caters to Japanese and anime culture by offering a variety of snacks, toys, and collectibles. Last month, the mall announced that two stores, This & That and World Earth Minerals, would open at the start of February.

This & That is a store that offers discounted merchandise while World Earth Minerals offers stones, jewelry, engraving services, and even things for kids as well! Then, there's the impending opening of a HomeGoods store in the mall too! More details on that are sure to come soon.
