Brock Purdy Marries Longtime Girlfriend in Beautiful Des Moines Wedding

Just a little over a month after playing in Super Bowl LVIII, former Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy had another milestone in life this weekend when he married his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Brandt.

Purdy, the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, and Brandt tied the knot in Des Moines, IA on Saturday, March 9th. During media week ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII last month, Purdy explained how he and his fiancée had to spend much of the season planning their wedding:

Jenna's done a great job with the wedding plans. Obviously, we got engaged in the summer, and then, boom, the season hit, so obviously for me it's been football and trying to win every week, and she's done such a tremendous job. When I come home, we just talk about the little things of the wedding. And honestly, it's helped me with football because it gets my mind off football and we have our time to talk about the wedding and what our future looks like [....] - Brock Purdy

TMZ reported that the couple married on Saturday. It's unclear how many/if any of Purdy's 49er teammates were in attendance, but from the photos via TMZ and YouTube, it was a beautiful ceremony.

Who is Jenna Brandt, Brock Purdy's Wife?:

Per People, Jenna Brandt is a native of Sumner, IA, and grew up with three siblings. An athlete herself, she played volleyball for four years in high school and was a two-time team captain. She also competed in track and field.

Brandt graduated from high school in 2018 and attended Iowa State University for volleyball. That's where she met and fell in love with Brock Purdy, the Cyclones' quarterback.

What's Next for Brock Purdy?:

As I wrote last month, it's fair to wonder what's next for Brock Purdy as he continues his run as the San Francisco 49ers' starting quarterback.

From suffering a terrible injury in the NFC Championship Game last season to him not being 100% sure he'd even play this season, following his still-young pro career has been a lot of fun. Seeing the Iowa State product play in a Super Bowl was a testament to how anything is truly possible in the NFL, regardless of where you were drafted.

TMZ reported that an upwards of 350 guests attended Brock and Jenna's wedding, with four different buses providing transportation. The photos that have made their way on social media and various outlets look beautiful.
