Iowa State Shows Off Another New Uniform [Photos]
The new uniforms keep rolling in for the Iowa State Cyclone Football team!
Last May, we learned about the complete change coming to Iowa State's regular Saturday jersey and now we've got the first glimpse at a new alternate uniform for the Cyclones. For anyone who hasn't seen the new Minnesota Vikings Winter Warrior alternate uniforms, it looks like the Cyclones might've used the same designer!
Yesterday (June 20), the Iowa State social media team dropped some photos/videos of the new all-white uniforms.
These white jerseys are pretty different from anything we've seen from this Cyclone football team in recent years. The uniforms, made by Nike, won't showcase any red at all. They are simply white jerseys with black numbers.
The Cyclones have two different looks they can choose from when wearing the all-white jerseys with black numbers and stripes. The jerseys themselves won't change but they can choose between a black helmet or a white helmet to wear on game day.
Are You A Fan?
Is it just me or are these pretty sweet? I'm a fan of when sports teams try to change up their uniforms every once in a while. I think it's cool when they take a shot at something else from the standard everyday uniform. If fans or players don't like them, you can retire them to the laundry bin and never wear them again. No harm no foul.
There have been some comments on various social media posts about how the Cyclones are changing their jerseys completely away from the traditional school colors and they aren't a big fan of that.
What do you think? Are you a fan of all of the new uniform choices the Iowa State Cyclones have for the upcoming 2024-2025 season?
