Saints Make Roster Moves; Burchill Headed to Youngstown
Dubuque Fighting Saints General Manager Kalle Larsson has announced that the club has acquired four draft selections and future considerations in a trade with the Youngstown Phantoms in exchange for forward Mikey Burchill and a future draft pick.
The Fighting Saints acquired two selections in the 2024 USHL Draft cycle, a Phase I second-round selection (originally from Omaha) and a Phase II second-round selection (also originally from Omaha), and two selections in the 2025 USHL Draft cycle. The 2025 selections are both Youngstown's own picks coming in the second-round of Phase I and in the fourth-round of Phase II. The Fighting Saints also acquired future considerations from the Phantoms in the deal as well.
The Phantoms acquired Burchill and a 2025 Phase I fifth-round selection from the Fighting Saints. In two seasons with Dubuque, Burchill appeared in 114 regular season games, scoring 24 goals, and totaling 57 points.

Dubuque now owns 12 picks in the 2024 USHL Phase I Draft and 11 selections in the first 10 rounds of the Phase II portion of the Draft.
The Dubuque Fighting Saints completed Phase I of the 2023 USHL Draft on May 2nd, making nine total selections in addition to their earlier tender of forward Liam Kilfoil. In addition, the Saints Phase II of the 2023 USHL Draft added twenty total selections between the first and nineteenth rounds of the draft.
