A popular local coffee truck that has been seen around the Tri-States over the last year has opened a brick-and-mortar location in a small Iowa town with hopes to bring people inside the booming business for a full-blown experience.

That business is Thirsty Goat, located in Farley, IA inside Cottonwood Custom Tees at 106 First Street, per the Telegraph Herald's Biz Times. The shop is now open seven days a week, and serves a plethora of coffee beverages, tea, and more right in downtown Farley.

Biz Times caught up with Thirsty Goat owner Jayme Lammers, who found the perfect spot in which to operate her business. At first, she was an "on-the-go coffee trailer," attending events and selling beverages with her family. The trailer was built from an old goat trailer on her family farm, from which the name came.

Lammers was met with incredible success, enough to motivate her to conjure up a plan to turn Thirsty Goat into a full-blown business complete with a brick-and-mortar location. Lammers has been running Cottonwood Custom Tees, a custom clothing business, for years, and decided to combine the two within the same storefront:

The visibility is very good. You have to drive by the store to get pretty much anywhere in Farley. And it works because now when I have customers coming in to shop for the custom-printed items, they can grab a coffee or a tea off the menu. - Jayme Lammers, per Biz Times

Thirsty Goat opened on November 15th, and is boasting signature lattes, drip coffee, boba drinks, and lit teas that come in a variety of flavors. Lammers noted that the wildberry burst lit tea has been a runaway hit for the shop to start. Lammers revealed to Biz Times plans to expand the menu further in the future, eventually to include smoothies, frappes, snacks, and more.

Thirsty Goat is open Monday through Friday (5am - 5pm) and Saturday and Sunday (8am - 12pm). A full menu can be found online, and you can also follow them on Facebook.
