The Beast Born in Wisconsin
A chilling legend haunts the town of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, just 40 miles southwest of Milwaukee. It's here, on Bray Road, that the "Beast of Bray Road" was first spotted in 1936. But it wasn't until the 80s and 90s that the tale of this mysterious creature truly captured the public's imagination.
The legend has been explored in several books, documentaries, and there was even a film made, 'The Beast of Bray Road' was released in 2005. But what is it? A made up story? A deformed animal? Werewolf? Bigfoot?
In this report from the tabloid show Inside Edition from 1993, several witnesses are seen telling the stories of their encounters, in which a couple of them say the creature scratched their cars as they drove off.
What Could the Beast Be?
One witness said, "If werewolves exist, this is probably a werewolf." Some experts disagree with that, with most speculating what people are seeing is a wolf, or some large dog breed, or maybe even a bear.
The hunt for the creature continues, despite not being any reported sightings of the creature since 2020, the Elkhorn Community Center hosted a Beast of Bray Road Celebration last May to update the community on the search for the beast!
