I'm a proud fifth-generation Dubuquer with deep roots in the tri-states. My dad grew up in Balltown, IA, and my mom in Potosi, WI, across the river. My childhood home was one of the first to be built on Dubuque's Westside, where my siblings and I grew up witnessing the City's growth and development over the years. I delivered pizza for Happy Joe's in high school and landed my first radio gig as the overnight DJ in the late 1980s at Fox 102.3, now Eagle 102.3. After a DJ stint in Cedar Rapids and a degree from the U of Iowa, I had an exciting media career taking me to Washington, DC, and other fun places. I helped elect candidates, pass ballot measures, and promote public projects around the country. Then, during the pandemic, I decided it was time to get back to my roots and reconnect with my Dubuque area family & friends. I'm a big fan of local history, river towns, and kayaking. I love the Hawkeyes & Cubs, hiking, country music, breweries, and any diner where the waitress calls me hon. I'm honored and thrilled to host the Good Morning Rodeo on WJOD and look forward to keeping listeners informed and entertained at the start of their day. Kick off the morning right!
