Just about every major studio in Hollywood has a new Robin Hood movie in the works, which means we’ll all be pretty sick of the famously charitable thief in the next few years or so. But it looks like the Robin Hood deluge has been slightly delayed, as the first of those films — an origin story starring Taron Egerton — was just pushed back six months. Feel free to use this extra time as you see fit; read a Stephen King novel, learn a new skill, have an existential crisis, or make some flash cards and memorize all the different Robin Hood movies that are coming out. You’ll be the envy of all your needlessly confused friends!

Per THR, Lionsgate and Summit have pushed Robin Hood back six months from its original release (in IMAX, no less) on March 23 to September 21, 2018, where it will compete with Goosebumps 2. The new Robin Hood movie is an origin story that centers on a younger iteration of the beloved character and explores how he fought corruption to become the iconic hero of Sherwood Forest.

Directed by Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders) and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Robin Hood stars Taron Egerton as the titular protagonist, with Jamie Foxx as Little John, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian, Jamie Dornan as Will Scarlet and Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham (shocking, I know).

Production on Robin Hood was delayed last year to allow Egerton to film Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which hits theaters on September 22.
