When it comes to their record-shattering animated franchise Frozen, Disney is—wait for it—just not ready to "Let It Go."

The Mouse House confirmed a sequel to the wildly successful ice princess flick a while back, but now it looks like the highly anticipated follow up could be under way much sooner than previously thought.

Kristen Bell, who provides the voice of spunky Princess Anna in the beloved 2013 film, revealed in a March 18 Collider interview that while voiceover recording for the sequel hasn't officially started yet, it's likely that work on the film may begin as early as March 2016—as in, this month.

When asked if the cast had begun recording for Frozen 2 yet, the actress shared, "Not yet. We’re just about to. They’ve just written it and they’re still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month!"

In addition to unveiling the recording news, Bell offered a glowing endorsement for the sequel's (still very under wraps) story-line, gushing, "The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn’t just put something out to put it out. That’s why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one. Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it."

The actress also shared that she—along with Idina Menzel (Queen Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), and Jonathan Groff (Kristoff)—has been busy recording for Disney's theme parks over the past few years.

"We record all the time for different parks or different parks that open overseas. We’ll do a mashup for the rides, so we actually get to go in—Josh and Idina, Jonathan and I—all the time and record new bits of the music... So we have little bits of Frozen in our life at all times, but I’m excited to get started on the new movie!"

In 2015, the team reunited for the Disney short,  Frozen Fever. Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are set to return for the sequel, as well as the original voice cast.
