Mike Field wakes you up with News, sports and weather as well as the Local and national talk topics of the day with “QAM” weekday mornings from 6 ‘til 8 on News/Talk 1490 WDBQ AM. Mike’s show has given him the opportunity to talk with Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, Senators Rick Santorum and Chuck Grassley as well as Congressman Jim Nussle. Mike was born in Dubuque and has been a member of the Dubuque radio market for over 10 years. Along with serving as the Program Director of WDBQ AM, Mike is also the play by play voice of the areas High School sports teams for the station. Mike can also be heard weekdays on Top 40 station “Y-105” the markets current top rated station from 10a–2p. Mike has worked in the community as well with a helping hand to the Make a Wish Foundation of Iowa, the American Cancer Society, The Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation and The Iowa Games.  When not cheering on the Cubs to their first world series title in 100 years, (Cubs fan/Bud man) you can find Mike on the golf course or possibly check the concert halls.

 

Mike has ABC NEWS at the top of every hour and Paul Harvey's news and comment at 7:30 everyday.
