Carrie Underwood is part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Class of 2018. The country superstar and American Idol winner is one of seven musicians and a slew of movie, TV and theater stars who will soon receive stars at the California landmark.

“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” says Vin Di Bona, chairman of the Hollywood Walk of Fame selection committee (quote via Taste of Country). “The committee looked carefully at each nominee, and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world.”

In addition to Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Petula Clark, Harry Connick Jr., Ice T, Snoop Dogg and “Weird Al” Yankovich are the other musicians who are part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Class of 2018; Virgin Group founder Richard Branson will also earn a star in the recording category. Underwood is the only country artist to earn a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as part of the Class of 2018.

Other 2018 Hollywood Walk of Fame inductees include Jack Black, Jennifer Lawrence and Minnie Mouse in the movies category (among others), and Simon Cowell, Taraji P. Henson and Steve Irwin, among others, in the TV category. Charles Aznavour, Lin Manuel Miranda and Bernie Mac are 2018’s live theater honorees, while Steve Jones is the lone radio honoree.

A date has not yet been set for the etching of Underwood and company’s Hollywood Walk of Fame stars. The induction ceremony must take place within two years of an inductee’s selection date.

After spending much of 2016 out on the road, Underwood has been taking some downtime for herself during the first half of 2017 (and was cheering on her husband, Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher, during the team’s Stanley Cup run). It was recently announced that she will return to co-host the 2017 CMA Awards with Brad Paisley and be back to sing the Sunday Night Football theme song for the 2017-2018 season.

In November, Underwood will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
